Kadyn dreams

Last night Kadyn was laughing very hard, while he was sleeping. I wish my camera wasn't all the way upstairs! He was rolling back and forth and laughing. It was the cutest thing. After he was done with that, I thought I'd lay down for a peaceful night sleep. Boy was I wrong. Kadyn woke up a couple times whining throughout the night. I am unsure of what it was all about because he has never done that before ever. He has never laughed in his sleep either. He then woke up at 4am, in a decent mood. He is now sleeping again at 1pm. I have yet to sleep. It's just been a rough night for Kadyn and me. I should be napping but I am so worried about Kadyn that it is driving me nuts.

Thinking of you - hang in there!

I'm thinking of you also and hoping you find some rest.

One thing that is very helpful to do when you are feeling stressed is to concentrate on deep breathing. Mike told me about this once and I thought he was crazy until I started to do it whenever I would feel uptight and it really does help me calm down...

Take in a deep breath, slowly, through your nose until your lungs are completely full and you cannot push anymore air into them. Then breath out slowly through your mouth, pushing out all the air from your lungs, even that last little breath. When breathing out concentrate on relaxing your shoulders and feel them drop as they relax.

It only takes me about 3 or 4 of these deep breaths while concentrating on relaxing my shoulders, til I feel settled down.

Sounds crazy I know, but physiologically, the breaths do natural things within the body that help it deal with stress.

*hugs*
