Yup I totally did that. I finally got Kadyn's ENT appointment scheduled for Wednesday April 18th at 11am, I then sat there a minute after getting off the phone and thought, "oh shoot! Neurosurgery check up is that day!" So I decided the ENT was more important since they would have to do surgery on Kadyn to put tubes in, so I called Neurosurgery to reschedule his appointment and well they kindly reminded me that his appointment was on the 11th not the 18th. Thank goodness. So we have Neurosurgery yearly check up on May 11th and ENT check up/make surgery date on May 18th. So, now we just wait and wait and wait. Seems like all I ever do anymore is wait. Oh well. :D

You are lucky you are getting in so soon. When my son was younger he could not get into specialist for 3 - 4 months. I mentioned this to my doctor and he ended up helping get him into another specialist out of the city about 1 hour away. My Mom took him for the first appt because I was working and he had the surgery and follow up checkup all before he would of had the 1st assessment with the doctors in town. Now wait times are even longer. That was over 19 years ago now.
